MYTH 01
“You need a large amount to invest in mutual funds”
No. The minimum for a SIP is ₹500 and the minimum for a lump sum is ₹5,000.
MYTH 02
“A mutual fund SIP can only be monthly”
Absolutely not. You can invest weekly, monthly or quarterly through a SIP.
MYTH 03
“It’s complicated — only experts can invest”
Not true. Existing knowledge helps, but if you don’t have it our experts will help you choose. After a one-time verification you can buy and sell whenever you want.
MYTH 04
“Online mutual fund investment isn’t safe”
Not at all. With NSE-registered online mutual fund platforms you can invest without fear of data breaches.
MYTH 05
“Investing on past performance will give you more returns”
A star cricketer who scored a century last game may be out on the first ball of the next one. Funds are no different — past performance does not carry forward.
Churning into last year’s best funds usually lowers your returns. If you follow performance at all, follow the long-term record.
